Formation

The rich doctrinal, spiritual, pastoral,and missionary inheritance regarding the life of the Church is the basis of every formation. Every consecration is a gift of God and being initiated by Him. The blossoming of the entire human person and the faith formation fundamentally leading to gradual configuration to Christ Jesus by embracing the evangelical 

virtues is the ultimate goal.

DST has formation houses at Elamthottam, Matia, Nedumpuramchal, Pala, Chemperi, Satna, Khilchipur and Bharananganam.

A candidate has to undergo five stages of formation: Aspirancy, Postulancy, Pre-Novitiate, Novitiate and Juniorate.

We welcome zealous and motivated young girls who are desirous to dedicate themselves to the fullness of charity in the spirit of Christ Jesus by responding in humble and trustful surrender to Gods faithful love.

Candidates who express their desire to become a DST sister are accepted into the formation program in

Elamthottam or Chemperi where they are invited to spend specific times with the sisters in prayer, recreation, study, retreat and ministry.
